No Guilt.

I have had an anxiety attack every day for nearly 2 weeks now. And for some reason, last night I decided that food would make it better. Yeah, I screwed up.

The scale was down today, though. And I'll be on track the rest of the week (didn't I say that yesterday?).

The bad thing about making such lofty goals for yourself (e.g. yesterday) is that when you fail, it's that much more disappointing.

Note to self: It's ok to screw up, it's ok to lose your focus. Just don't lose your focus to the tune of 50+ pounds. You can do this, even if you have some setbacks. Look how far you've come! You will do this!

Sometimes the race goes not always to the swift but to those who keep running.
Keep running my dear.

Along the same lines, my whole slogan: It's not a sprint, it's a marathon. I heard that earlier this year and I LOVED it. You'll get there! But like you said before, there's no race to get these last 8-10 lbs. off. You've been feeling great about yourself remember? You look great and you're soooo in control! A few (even a few WEEKS worth!) of bad days isn't going to undo the 50+ lb. loss you've had, so there's no need to stress about any slight gaining or overeating. Just get back on track and keep running that marathon ;) Good luck! I know you can do it :)

Hey everyone, thanks for commenting! I turned off moderation, but please play nice! Remember what your mother taught you, if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all!
