Genius Next Door

Yesterday's Food:
  • Bowl of Kashi Heart to Heart cereal with 2% milk and a mini cherry almond scone
  • Some guacamole flavored chips with green chile dip
  • Some Veggie Straws with green chile dip
  • Some multigrain crackers spread with a green onion cheese ball
  • A Sprite (12 oz.)
  • A turkey hot dog with ketchup and spicy mustard, some mustard potato salad, and some Waldorf salad
  • A small bowl of vanilla ice cream with strawberries, walnuts, and chocolate syrup
  • Some Nacho Cheese Corn Nuts
  • A Dr Pepper (12 oz.)
Weigh in yesterday. Up 2 pounds (+0.3 fat, +0.7 muscle, +1.0 water). And yeah, I'm a little bit upset about it. I knew I ate too much at the beginning of the week, but certainly not enough to have gained so much even after eating well for 3 days. I think it's just ridiculous. And the fact that I'm even getting this upset about it, when you're not even supposed to weigh yourself when you're an intuitive eater, bothers me too. I just don't even know what to say.

In other news, yesterday was the 4th, and I LOVE pigging out on holidays, so I just relaxed and enjoyed myself, and didn't even worry about what I was eating. I wasn't overly full after we left my grandpa's house, either, so I don't think I pigged out too much! After we ate and played on the Wii for a couple hours, my cousin Mike and I decided to head out to the Balloon Fiesta park to watch the fireworks show, because Scott had to work and it was only $2, so we figured it would be better than us each sitting at home alone. I'm really glad we went, too, because it was really fun! We had fun just hanging out and talking, which we never do anymore, so it was good to catch up with him.

I had a great holiday! Unfortunately I was dead tired this morning so we didn't get up in time for church :( And now we have to go find something to eat for lunch and then go grocery shopping. I'll check y'all later!

Don't beat yourself up too much over the weight gain! Only .3 of those 2 pounds was fat, and the rest was muscle (yay you!) and water (no biggie). As far as I am concerned you only gained .3!
